When you spend as much time together (albeit, not alone) as people in band do, it's pretty unrealistic for romantic feelings to not rise up at all within the group.

I have all of the time. Can't really say that we were high school sweethearts or anything like that. Sometimes people call me the "PDA Queen" (trust me it was kept to hand holding:innocent:) in our band because I have had a different boyfriend every marching band season.After awhile though, I got tired of only having band in common or to see each other. Honestly, I sometimes wonder how someone could not have feelings for someone else in their band because you do have so much in common.

i don't think i have a crush on anybody in my band...its just that first there aren't really guys i would have a crush on and another we have been around each other for too long, and gotten into arguements, drama and everyone saw everyone on their bad side at band camp, i don't think it would happen

but...it has happen to a lot of people, and it sucks because when they break up they start dividing up people onto their sides and it gets ugly..kind of

That's a sweet story!  

The band guy I dated for a short time in HS now has a daughter in band with my daughter!

And yes, my daughter has dated someone in band.  I think the only person in her band who was mad about it was his ex-girlfriend!

Crushes are pretty normal for high school and its just something that happens mainly because you get to know the person and you see their true personality.  And yes, i have had one before

I think just about everyone whose ever been in marching band has had the "hottz" for another member. Anyone who says they haven't is flat out lying to you.

And yes I have been attracted to one (or multiple) other members. I even named my Tuba after a girl.
