Summer Instructor for Hire

Hello! My name is Daniel Bertram, and I am currently seeking summer opportunities for color guard instructing, choreographing, training, and/or teching. I have experience in teaching groups of all levels (elementary, middle school, and high school) at any capacity (small and large programs).

Some of my most recent work was as the Color Guard Director at Terre Haute North Vigo High School, the IHSCGA 2012 Open Class Bronze Medalist, a WGI Midwestern Regional Finalist, along with the AA group receiving gold ratings at all competitions for the 2012 season with 3rd place at IHSCGA Divisional Finals. I was the director, choreographer, designer, and tech for both of these groups, and have a variety of experiences in all areas (dance, flag, rifle, sabre). 

I have an extensive performance background in both Drum and Bugle Corps (2005-2007 Southwind D&B, 2008 Santa Clara Vanguard D&B, and 2009 The Blue Stars D&B) along with Independent Winter Guard (2008 Zydeco Independent World Class Winter Guard and The 2010 WGI Independent Open Class Silver Medalist Usurpation Winter Guard). I have a dance background as a member of the Indiana State University’s Fusion Dance Company from 2008-present. 

I have a passion for teaching and am currently obtaining my degree in Physical Education and Dance from Indiana State University. I am willing to travel for summer camps and rehearsals.
