Attended the Class A contest yesterday and loved it.. Great shows, great enthusiasm, (one unfortunate mistake - poor P.R. management, too much time dwelling on it.)   I have seen some feedback from A and C classes but have not heard much about how B went....in what is probably the closest contest of any class????  At least 4 schools that can take home the title...how was the show, who stepped up, who might have peaked early?  Any thoughts if you were actually there and saw all the shows?
Bill you would have been so proud of the Concord Band. They were so wonderful! The music was beautiful and the show was exciting!
I had a little car trouble so I missed most of the performances and just made it down in time to catch Munster and everyone after. I loved Munster's show! Northridge had to have been close to going to state. DeKalb was fantastic as always. I heard Goshen as I got into Pike and they performed their hearts out. I could tell from just the music that they were going to state.

Fairfield has a drum set in the pit...and holy cow.  Watch that guy play.  He is one of the best drum players I've seen for a long time in high school.  Incredible!!
Hey thanks Mr. Matthews, it means a lot to the Fairfield Percussion section and me.
