Does anybody know if there will be a video of some kind for the Grand Nationals Semi-Finals performances?

Yes, Mr. Video offers individual band performances, and also semi-finals sets and finals sets. Quite expensive, though. http://www.mrvideoonline.com/event-details.asp?ID=649488

As Fanfare said already, Mr.Video distributes the semis and finals for a costly price.

Also, I don't know if this will happen again, but the DVDs may not come until March or so because of the copyrights.

Yes, that's correct, according to the website. You can order an individual prelim performance video and it will be shipped in two weeks. All of the rest, however, will be shipped in March of 2011.

Not a DVD and you may already know this, but for $39 you can subscribe to the MFA Fan Network Video On Demand service and watch all of the BOA finals shows on the computer. Not DVD quality and can be choppy at times, but good stuff. You can also order audio downloads from this site also.

My understanding, however, is that individual band semi performances are not available: you must buy the set in which your band is included.  Also, this set is not the set of bands they played in at semis.  Mr. Video apparently randomized the bands for semi set inclusion.

Finals Video didn't come out until April this year, but it was WELL worth the wait.

Are these videos the "multi angle" view only, or is there also the "wide angle" version?  Muti angle is neat, but I keep screeming at the screen to "Zoom OUT!" because they always seem to be focused in on something that is not the main focus at that point in time.   ;)

The latter is what the DVD contains.  I guess that solves the screeming problem, then.
