Having been at the show all I can say is WOW!  Lake Central really brought it tonight. Congratulations to Lake Central on a phenomenal night.

Congrats to Avon and all the bands that participated.  It was truly incredible!

I want to give a shout out to some Center Grove and Castle parents.  You show us such kindness and showed just how classy you all are, thank you!

Congrats to all bands but especially to the tribe of pride of Lake Central.  Being in that program in the late 90's we were always considered the "bubble band" to make state and a "bubble bad" at BOA regionals and a "bubble band" just to make semis at nationals.  To see this band move up in the ranks within the past decade is astounding.  I want to give Chris Harmon, Dave Nelson, and Alan Buzalski a big thank you for keeping consistency within the directors rank.  All three of you are all amazing and hope the 3 of you continue work together for a long time to come.  To the students,  continue to work hard all this week and keep your eye on the prize and not get complacent.  Heres to you guys trying to get on the field for saturday night for this time since we started going to BOA in 1995. From the alumni to the students we all remember that WE ARE LC!!!!!!!!

The only answer to this question is that Avon had an absolutely phenomenal showing
Let's ignore grammar and spelling errors and focus on the issue

Why did Carmel place 1.5 points behind Avon? I didn't see Avon's show but Carmel has been less than one point behind Avon all season. I know Carmel had a technical difficulty but what did Avon do that Carmel didn't?
1) Both are outstanding programs!

2) Your statements are 100% not true -- although you shouldn't be talking about ISSMA scoring anyway (see our score policy).

3) This is the first BOA event that both competed in this season.

Both are contenders, and will continue to be. Grand Nationals will be outstanding no matter what.  :)

Congratulations to all the bands and especially to the Indiana groups representing 75% of finals! Here were my personal results from finals. Mine were definitely higher since this certainly felt like a low scoring regional.

1. 93.75 Avon (Music, GE)
2. 93.25 Carmel (Visual)
3. 91.60 Marian Catholic
4. 89.90 Lake Central
5. 88.65 Lawrence Central
6. 85.50 Greenwood
7. 85.35 Center Grove
8. 84.85 Ben Davis
9. 83.15 Castle
10. 83.05 Centerville
11. 82.50 Hickory
12. 81.45 Lincoln-Way East

Congratulations to all the bands on a very enjoyable day. For those going on to Grand Nationals, good luck! To everyone else, I hope to see you all return again next year and maybe a few new faces. Hint Hint  ::)

It will be very interesting to see ummm, the scoring for this coming weekend and how much the scores deviate from this past weekend.  Obviously bands are apt to get better, but I am in agreement with Josh, I think the scores were a tad low.
